1. Information we collect
We may collect account and profile information, contact details, order and transaction history, payment evidence, website usage data, IP address, device information, and Discord identifiers when you connect or use our bot.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, process and deliver orders, verify payments, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve the service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
2.1 Account registration and Google or LINE sign-in
When you register with a username and password, ITEMHYPE stores your username and a password hash, rather than your plain-text password. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the account identifier, name, profile picture, and verified email address supplied by Google. If you choose LINE sign-in, we receive the account identifier, display name, and profile picture supplied by LINE; we do not request access to your LINE email address, messages, or contacts. We use this information to create and authenticate your ITEMHYPE account. Your Google or LINE password is not shared with ITEMHYPE. We do not automatically merge accounts that share an email address. You may use username and password registration instead of a social sign-in provider.
3. Service providers
We may share only the information needed with providers supporting hosting, databases, file storage, slip verification, payments, analytics, and Discord functionality. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.
4. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Data is deleted, anonymized, or restricted when it is no longer needed.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to limit unauthorized access and reduce risk. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect their credentials and devices.
6. Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and may retain limited records when required by law or necessary for security and fraud prevention.
